MUSH

The 2017 Iditarod begins in a day.  It is THE LAST GREAT RACE ON EARTH.  Here is my digital tribute to the valiant dogs as they eagerly await the start.

    1. Thanks Valerie. I think they may look a little more deranged than excited. LOL

  2. Beautiful! I have read many things about the Iditarod. I believe those dogs really enjoy the adventure as much as, and maybe even more than, their human companions on the trip. I think it is a great tradition and I hope it never stops.

    1. Did you know Poodles were once sled dogs. They did great and led the pack but were soon banned. I should have tried to draw poodles. LOL Thanks Faye for your nice comment.

  6. To answer your question, I just 3 minutes ago googled the song about Zacchaeus so I could record it and get the tune right Sunday.

  8. Lovely piece of art and you represented the dogs perfectly. When I was in my younger years I helped train dogs for the Iditarod and lesser known races in AK. It was an amazing time and I loved every minute of it. There is nothing quite like mushing a team at night with a full moon.
